1. Toughened glass is used to protect the main body of power generation (such as battery), and its selection of light transmission is required. 2. EVA is used to bond and fix tempered glass and power generation main body (such as battery). The quality of transparent EVA material directly affects the service life of components. EVA exposed to the air is prone to aging and yellowing, thus affecting the light transmittance of components. Thus, the power generation quality of components will be affected. In addition to the quality of EVA itself, the lamination process of component manufacturers will also have a great impact. For example, the bonding degree of EVA is not up to standard, and the bonding strength between EVA and tempered glass and backplane is not enough, which will cause the premature aging of EVA and affect the service life of components. 3. The main function of the battery is to generate electricity. The mainstream in the power generation market are crystalline silicon solar cells and thin-film solar cells, both of which have their own advantages and disadvantages. 4. EVA functions as above, mainly bonding and packaging the power generation main body and backplane. 5. Backplane functions, sealing, insulation and waterproof (generally TPT, TPE and other materials must be aging resistant. Most component manufacturers have a 25 year warranty. Tempered glass and aluminum alloy are generally no problem, and the key is whether they can meet the requirements with backplane and silica gel.) 6. Aluminum alloy protective laminate plays a certain role in sealing and supporting. 7. The junction box protects the whole power generation system and acts as a current transfer station. If the component is short circuited, the junction box automatically disconnects the short-circuit battery string to prevent burning out the whole system. 8. Silicone sealing function is used to seal the boundary between the component and the aluminum alloy frame, and between the component and the junction box. Some companies use double-sided tape and foam to replace silica gel. Silica gel is widely used in China. The process is simple, convenient, easy to operate, and the cost is very low. According to the form, solar cells can be divided into rigid solar cells and flexible solar cells; According to the crystalline state, it can be divided into crystalline film type and amorphous film type, and the former can be divided into monocrystalline and polycrystalline forms; According to the material, it can be divided into silicon film, compound semiconductor film and organic film; According to the different materials used, it can also be divided into: silicon solar cells, multi compound thin film solar cells, polymer multi-layer modified electrode solar cells, nanocrystalline solar cells, organic solar cells. Among them, silicon solar cell is the most mature one at present, and plays a leading role in application.
