Small power solar panels can be measured, while high-power ones cannot be measured using a multimeter alone.
1. The output voltage value measured when the photovoltaic cell is exposed to a light source of 100mW/c ㎡ and the output ends of the photovoltaic cell are open circuit.
Use the DC voltage range of a multimeter, with the red lead connected to the positive electrode of the battery board and the black lead connected to the negative electrode of the battery board for measurement.
2. Short circuit current: refers to the current that flows through both ends of a photovoltaic cell during output short circuit under the illumination of a standard light source. The general method for measuring short-circuit current is to connect an ammeter with an internal resistance of less than 1 ohm to both ends of the photovoltaic cell for measurement.
Use the DC current range of a multimeter, with the red lead connected to the positive pole of the battery board and the black lead connected to the negative pole of the battery board.
3. Calculation: Maximum output power (Pm): Maximum output working voltage (Vpm)&TImes; Maximum output working current (Ipm).
